A woman has been charged following the stabbing of a man in Lake Illawarra yesterday, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to Grove Circuit, Warilla about 12pm today, following reports that a man had been stabbed.
A 32-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Albion Park Airport where he was airlifted to St George Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A 36-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station where she was charged with malicious wounding.
She has been bail refused to appear in Wollongong Local Court tomorrow.
A 33-year-old man, who was allegedly at the location at the time of the incident, was also arrested and taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station where he was charged with larceny, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and malicious damage.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Port Kembla Local Court on 5 April 2017.
