Two people flee following crash in Ashcroft

Investigations are underway after vehicle struck a parked car and crashed in to a power pole in Sydney’s south-west, NSW Police say.

Just before 2am police were called to Maxwells Avenue, Ashcroft, following reports of a crash.


Officers from Green Valley attended and found a 23-year-old man trapped in a car that had hit a pole and a parked car at the location.


Police have been told the female driver and a male passenger had left the scene.


The 20-year-old man was removed from the vehicle and treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital.


Police searched the vicinity but were unable to locate the driver and second passenger.


Inquiries are continuing.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
