Two stabbed - Bexley North

Police are waiting to speak with two people after they were stabbed at Bexley North overnight.

Emergency services were called to Ellerslie Road about 9.25pm (Monday 17 August 2020), and found

two males with stab wounds to their legs.

A 19-year-old man had sustained a serious stab wound to his right leg. He was treated at the scene before being taken to St George Hospital where he's reported to be in a serious condition.

A 17-year-old youth sustained a stab wound to his right leg and left hand. He is being treated in Canterbury Hospital and is reported to be in a stable condition.

Officers from St George Police Area Command established a crime scene and have conducted a canvass of the surrounding area.

Detectives are now waiting to speak with the two injured males to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.

It is believed that eight to 10 males may have been involved in a fight leading up to the stabbing.
