Two teenagers to face court over incident at Cavan, SA

A teenager has been arrested following an incident at the Adelaide Youth Training Centre at Cavan on Tuesday, according to SA Police.

Police were called to the centre just before 9am on Tuesday 18 October following reports of a disturbance.

Police will allege that the teenager assaulted three staff members and caused damage within the facility.

An 18-year-old Cavan man was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, aggravated affray and property damage. The man did not apply for bail and appeared in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Wednesday.


A second youth, a 17-year-old Cavan boy, was reported over the incident and is expected to appear in court at a later date.
