Two-vehicle crash, man charged with mid-range PCA near Ryde, NSW

A man has been charged with mid-range drink-driving after a two-vehicle crash in Drummoyne this morning, NSW Police say.

About 12.30am (Thursday 10 May 2018), emergency services were called to the intersection of Victoria Road and Westbourne Street, after reports two utes had collided and that one had rolled.

The male drivers of both utes were assessed by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene and were uninjured.

The 23-year-old driver of the ute that rolled, returned a positive result to a roadside breath-test.

The man was arrested and taken to Ryde Police Station where he returned an alleged breath analysis reading of 0.099.

He was subsequently issued a Field Court Attendance Notice for mid-range PCA and will appear at Burwood Local Court on Monday 25 June 2018.
