Two year old boy serious after falling from window in Austinmer

Police are investigating after a child is in a serious condition after falling from a window on the state’s south coast.

About 3pm today, emergency services attended a home on Mountain Road, Austinmer, following reports a child had fallen from a second storey window, NSW Police say.

The two-year-old boy was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene before being airlifted to Prince of Wales Hospital with a fractured skull and lacerations under his arm.

Officers from Wollongong Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
