Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Dr. Colin Kahl met with U.K. National Security Adviser Sir Stephen Lovegrove to reaffirm the U.S.-U.K. bilateral relationship.
The two leaders exchanged views on the situation in Ukraine and condemned Russia's brutal attacks on Ukrainian people and territory. They also discussed the Australia-U.K.-U.S. trilateral security partnership (AUKUS) to enhance peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
Lovegrove and Kahl expressed their commitment to deepening the already-robust U.S.-U.K. defense and security relationship.
