Hobsons Bay Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a burglary which occurred in Newport earlier this month, Victoria Police say.
Officers have been told a thief walked into a garage on Wills Street and stole a unique bicycle.
The theft occurred between 10am and 11am on Sunday 2 July.
The bike is a custom 1970s Ricardo men’s single speed and is quite distinctive.
Police have released an image of a woman that they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
