Units evacuated after fire, NSW

Residents from a block of twelve units have been evacuated after fire broke out at Harris Park overnight, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to the block on Good Street, Harris Park, about 9pm (Sunday 7 January 2018), and found a unit well-alight.

Residents left their homes as a precaution while officers from Fire & Rescue NSW worked to control the blaze.

At this time there have been no reports of injury and the cause of the blaze is still being determined.
