The University of Tasmania's University College and its range of flexible, innovate degrees is travelling around Tasmania this week for a series of information sessions in regional communities.
From today (3 December) through Friday (7 December), University College representatives will visit towns from Smithton to St Helens and from Huonville to Queenstown.
College Chief Executive Lee Whiteley urged anyone who was interested in up-skilling or a pathway to further education to head along and talk to one of the team at a nearby session.
"University College is something new and different in higher education," Mr Whiteley said.
"We work with industry, schools and communities across Tasmania to prepare the next generation of employees. Whatever your age, and whether you're at school or not, we encourage you to come along and explore how University College can help."
The University College was established in 2016 and offers a range of associate degrees and pre-degree programs. Industry-focused and designed to address current skills shortages, the courses feature embedded hands-on, work integrated learning opportunities to ensure graduates are work-ready.
From applied business, aquaculture, and cyber security, to agribusiness, design, applied health and community support, and much more, the College offers a range of potential pathways to new futures.
