University of Third Age comes to Frog Hollow Reserve

We're delighted to announce that the University of the Third Age Hawthorn will now be running activities from the function room at Frog Hollow Reserve, Camberwell. The opening of another U3A site in the City of Boroondara will be of great benefit to local older residents who wish to engage in lifelong learning.

The University of the Third Age (U3A) is a worldwide, volunteer-run organisation, providing a range of low cost education opportunities and recreational activities for retired and semi-retired individuals. U3A Hawthorn and U3A Deepdene already run classes out of several locations throughout the Boroondara municipality.

At City of Boroondara, we are committed to providing all residents with opportunities to participate in healthy ageing. U3A provides an important service for seniors, adding to their health and wellbeing, and encouraging seniors to remain active, engaged and socially connected.
