Unlawful use of a motor vehicle in Golden Beach, QLD

Sunshine Coast Detectives are investigating after a vehicle was stolen from a house in Golden Beach on Friday afternoon, Queensland Police say.

At around 4:15pm a man entered a residence on Lamerough Parade and stole keys from inside the home before stealing a car, which was parked in the garage.

A 29-year-old woman, who was home at the time, attempted to stop the man by opening the driver’s door was knocked to the ground before the man reversed into a boat parked in the driveway and fled the scene.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance with an olive complexion, approximately 178cm tall, of medium build with short dark hair.

The vehicle is described as a black 2015 Ford Ranger dual cab (pictured) with Queensland registration 882-VWF.

Investigators believe another vehicle, a black Audi sedan with Queensland registration 753-VMG (pictured) may have been involved in the incident.

Police have also released images of two people (pictured) driving the vehicles who may be able to assist police with their enquiries.
