Unlawful use of a motor vehicle, South Brisbane District

Police have charged two people after tracking an allegedly stolen vehicle on Brisbane’s southside overnight., Queensland Police say

It will be alleged that around 11:40pm police observed a vehicle which had been reported stolen from Lutwyche on March 14 being driven along Ipswich Road in Moorooka.

Police tracked the vehicle before deploying tyre deflation devices at the intersection of Magnolia Street and Archerfield Road in Richlands.

Officers followed the vehicle at low speed until it came to a stop on Outlook Place in Durack.

A man, woman and girl were taken into custody at the scene.

A 25-year-old Annerley man has been charged with four counts of stealing and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.

An 18-year-old Redbank Plains woman has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and two counts of receiving tainted property.

She is due to appear in Richlands Magistrates Court on May 11.
