Unlawful use of a vehicle in Inala to Mango Hill, QLD

Two people are assisting police with inquiries in relation to the unlawful use of a motor vehicle from Inala to Mango Hill last night, Queensland Police say.

At around 8pm, a stolen vehicle was tracked by POLAIR from Inala as it drove across to Brisbane North.

Police successfully deployed a tyre deflation device at Mango Hill where the 25-year-old male driver and the 21-year-old female passenger abandoned the car on Maryvale Road and fled.
POLAIR followed the man where he was soon taken into custody, while the dog squad located the woman in bushes in a nearby rear yard. A firearm was also located.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
