Brisbane detectives have charged a man with unlawful wounding following an overnight disturbance at Ellen Grove in which a man was allegedly stabbed, Queensland Police say.
It will be alleged an altercation occurred between two men at a Doreen Crescent home around 10pm last night during which time one of the men was stabbed in the chest area.
He fled the scene driving to an address Richlands where police were called.
The 38-year-old Moorooka man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested a 23-year-old Eight Mile Plains man at the Doreen Crescent residence. He has been denied police bail and remanded in custody and is due to appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court this morning.
Both men are known to each other.
