Jacksons Road outbound entry ramp changes

As part of the Monash Freeway Upgrade Stage 2, we're changing the way you join EastLink and the Monash Freeway from Mulgrave.

Jacksons Road outbound entry ramp will remain closed until mid-May, and when it opens it will connect only to EastLink.

From mid-May the following changes will be in place:

  • To access EastLink from the Monash Freeway outbound – veer left approximately 400 metres earlier before the Jacksons Road outbound exit ramp
  • To access the Monash Freeway from Mulgrave– detour via Wellington Road or Stud Road
  • To access EastLink from Mulgrave- use the Jacksons Road outbound entry ramp

Works are underway to reinstate the Police Road outbound entry ramp to the Monash Freeway and it will be complete in mid-2022.

The new connections in Mulgrave will open progressively over the next couple of months. To stay up to date signup to the Monash Freeway - Police/ Jacksons roads database online at bigbuild.vic.gov.au/projects/major-road-projects-victoria/email-and-sms-updates
