Northern Territory Police have suspended the air, road and ground search for missing person Paul Anthony Baker.
The search covered in excess of 180 square kilometres over two days with the assistance of the tactical response group, local aircraft resources, Katherine police and NTES volunteers.
Katherine Police and Regional Crime would like to thank the members of the community for the continuing reports of information, and the residents of Edith Farms for their cooperation and support in the past days efforts.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Ian Kennon "Whilst the search has been suspended and Mr Baker has not been located in the Edith Farms area, we understand that Mr Baker is known to be a competent bushman. It is believed that Mr Baker often travels into other remote areas of the Northern Territory. We still call upon the community to report any information to police as we continue our investigation."
