Update 3 – Serious assault in Beenleigh, QLD

A 37-year-old man allegedly assaulted in Beenleigh on Saturday night has died in hospital, Queensland Police say.

Police will be allege around 9.40pm, a 37-year-old man whilst at a party in Aragon Street, was assaulted by a group of five men in the front yard of the residence.

The man suffered serious head injuries and was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he was pronounced deceased today.

A 17-year-old Buccan man and a 36-year-old Bahrs Scrub man have been charged with one count each of grievous bodily harm.

Detectives continue their appeal to any members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or who have information that may assist with the investigation to contact police.
