Update – Armed robbery at Meadowbrook, QLD

A man has been charged in relation to an incident where a woman was allegedly threated at gunpoint and had her vehicle stolen at Meadowbrook on August 27, 2018, Queensland Police say.

Around 3pm, a woman was parked in a carpark on Loganlea Road when a man allegedly approached her and asked to borrow her phone.

He then allegedly produced what is believed to be a handgun and demanded the woman’s car keys and phone.

A 23-year-old Bundamba has been charged with armed robbery, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, possess knife in a public place and fail to dispose of needle.

He is due to face the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
