Update – Charges in relation to death of Michelle Meades, TAS

Tasmania Police detectives have this afternoon laid further charges in relation to the death of Michelle Meades, Tasmania Police say.

A 33 year old woman from Hobart has been charged with the Murder of Ms Meades. This charge is in addition to an earlier charge of Arson in relation to this matter.

A 57 year old man from Hobart has been charged with Accessory after the fact of Murder, and Fail to Report the Killing of a Person.

They will both appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.

A 28 year old man from Hobart appeared in the Hobart Magistrates Court earlier this afternoon charged with Accessory after the fact of Murder, and Fail to Report the Killing of a Person. He was remanded in custody.

The body of Ms Meades was found on Thursday 22 September, concealed in a burned unit in Clarendon Vale.

Investigations are continuing into Ms Meades death, and anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
