A woman has died following a two vehicle traffic crash at Jindalee last Thursday afternoon, Queensland Police say.
Around 1pm, a red Holden sedan was travelling east on Seventeen Mile Rocks Road when it crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a white Nissan Murano headed in the opposite direction.
The crash occurred on a bend just west of the Centenary Highway overpass bridge.
A 98-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the Nissan, was transported to the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital but died yesterday from injuries sustained in the crash.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or people that have relevant dash cam vision to contact them.
