Update – Further arrests of 'hooning group' members

Gold Coast Rapid Action Patrols have arrested another two members of a local ‘hooning group’ as police continue to target the group’s activities, Queensland Police say.

As a result of information received, police executed a search warrant on a Ron Penhaligon Way address at Robina where a man was taken into custody.

An 23-year-old Robina man was charged with contravene court order and receiving stolen property.

He is expected to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on August 29.

A 19-year-old woman from Robina was arrested at another location and charged following an investigation into an alleged traffic incident at Mudgeeraba January 1 this year.

The woman has been charged with grievous bodily harm, stalking, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and fail to remain at scene of traffic incident.

She is expected to appear at the Southport Magistrates Court on August 29.
