Update - Home Invasion and Robbery - Kay Street, Kings Meadows, TAS

Launceston CIB is continuing to investigate a home invasion that occurred at 7.10am on Wednesday 9 January 2019, Tasmania Police say.

Acting Det Insp. John Parker stated that police were following up on a number of leads in relation to an older small red sedan or hatchback that was seen in the area of Janet and Kay Streets Kings Meadows around the time that the crimes were committed.

Acting Det. Insp Parker has requested that if anyone in the area of Kay and Janet Streets, including Southgate Drive, has CCTV footage could they please check and advise police if they have information that may assist.

Acting Insp Parker said that police were confident that the offenders were aged in their mid 20s to mid 30s.

Offender 1 is described as being tall and skinny, with Offender 2 being described as shorter than Offender 1, with a stockier build.   These offenders have not been identified as yet.
