A 37 year old Rosetta woman has today been arrested and charged with Manslaughter by police crash investigators, Tasmania Police say.
The arrest relates to a two vehicle fatal crash involving a motorcycle which occurred at approximately 11pm on Friday, 14 October 2016, on the Brooker Highway just north of the junction of Elwick Road, Glenorchy.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 48 year old man from Bridgewater, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Rosetta woman is presently in custody and will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court during the course of this afternoon today.
