Goulburn Mulwaree Council advises that rectification works on Mountain Ash Road, originally anticipated to take place during September, have been delayed due to contractor availability and weather conditions that were not suitable for undertaking the works.

To ensure the best long-term outcome, preliminary repairs are required before the final reseal can be applied. These works will address edge breaks and undertake heavy patching in several sections of the road.

Preliminary works are scheduled to be carried out between 20 October and 29 October 2026, with the final resealing works planned for the week commencing 2 November 2026.

The revised schedule will allow the preliminary repairs to be completed and ensure weather conditions and temperatures are favourable for the reseal, helping to deliver a higher quality and longer-lasting result for road users.

Council appreciates the patience and understanding of residents and motorists while these important rectification works are completed.
