Northern Territory Police have charged a 37-year-old female driver involved in a pursuit in Darwin yesterday with a number of offences.
The woman who was allegedly driving a stolen vehicle has been issued a Notice to Appear in the Darwin Local Court on 27 November 2018 charged with, Northern Territory Police say:
- Unlawful use of a motor vehicle
- Drive with prohibited drug in blood
- Possession of a Schedule 1 drug
- Possession of stolen property
- Drive unlicensed
A 37-year-old male who was a passenger in the vehicle was also charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He was issued with a Notice to Appear in the Darwin Local Court on 28 November 2018.
The investigation surrounding the circumstances of the pursuit continues and police would like anyone with information to come forward.
