A man has died from injuries sustained in a serious, two vehicle traffic crash in Ayr on August 13, Queensland Police say.
At around 8am a semi-trailer travelling on Bower Street and a station wagon collided at the intersection of Drysdale Street.
The 66-year-old male driver of the station wagon was airlifted to the Townsville Hospital with life-threatening-injuries where he died last night.
The 53-year-old male truck driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
Forensic Crash Unit officers continue to investigate the crash.
