A man has died as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic crash in Runaway Bay on May 24, Queensland Police say.
Around 1.10pm on Wednesday, May 24, a man on a mobility scooter was crossing Bayview Street at a pedestrian crossing when he was hit by a car travelling north.
The 91-year-old man from Runaway Bay was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition, where he passed away overnight.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
