UPDATE: Stolen Porsche located in Prospect, South Australia

A man has been arrested for the theft of a Porsche stolen during a break in this morning at Glenelg South.

Just before 6am on Saturday 8 December police were called to Moseley Street after reports that a home had been broken in to and a white Porsche Macan SA registration 888A stolen. The occupants of the premises were at home at the time but were not injured.

Nearly four hours later an eagle-eyed member of the public recognised the vehicle driving in Prospect after it was published on the SAPOL Facebook page and called Police.

Police attended the scene and located the vehicle on Bosanquet Avenue. A short foot chase took place before the suspect was swiftly arrested.

A 19-year-old man from Seaton has been charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle and hinder police. He is expected to be refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrate Court on Monday 10 December.
