Update suspicious behaviour in Lawnton

Detectives have released photos of a vehicle of interest after a girl was grabbed by a man in Lawnton this afternoon.

The 11-year-old was walking on the Francis Road overpass at 3.20pm when she was approached by an unknown man who grabbed her by the waited and pulled her to the ground.

He then fled to a what detectives believe was a black Holden Captiva that was on Park Lane before fleeing the scene.

He was last seen running to a dark coloured SUV that was on Park Lane.

The girl did not suffer any physical injures as a result of the incident.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance with a shaved head, in his early 20s and had a proportionate build.

He was last seen wearing a light blue t-shirt, running shoes and black shorts.

Detectives are continuing to seek information or dashcam from anyone that may have been in the area at the time.

Investigations are continuing.
