A 35-year-old man will be extradited from New South Wales following investigations into a suspicious fire at Emerald on March 13, Queensland Police say.
The fire occurred around 7.20pm on at a duplex on Glovar Street and the blaze caused significant damage to the building.
A man was arrested on Saturday in New South Wales and appeared before the Lismore Magistrates Court this morning where Queensland Detectives were successful in his extradition to Queensland.
The man will travel with detectives to Queensland today where it is expected he will be charged with two counts of arson.
