Update2 – Suspicious death investigation at Yeronga, QLD

Detectives investigating the suspicious death of a man at Yeronga at the weekend have charged a man, Queensland Police say.

Police were called to a Yeronga Road unit complex around 7pm on Saturday evening, December 1 after the body of a man had allegedly been located inside a wheelie bin.

A good response from the community following a request for assistance from officers, helped to locate four people police believed could assist with their inquiries.

A 30-year-old Yeronga man has since been charged with one count of murder and will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.

A 38-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman continue to assist police with their inquiries into the matter.

A 27-year-old woman has been released without charge.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
