Resources Victoria is making it easier for those applying for mining and retention licences to prepare and submit documents supporting their proposals.
Developed with input from across the resources sector, updated guidelines have been released to help applicants prepare mineralisation reports and more easily describe the resources they intend to target.
The update makes the application process clearer to understand and easier to complete.
The key features include greater flexibility in the level of detail needed for applications from smaller operations, clearer advice on how a project's viability is assessed and less duplication in report preparation.
