Urgent appeal - Missing 17-year-old girl, Goodna

Police are seeking urgent public assistance to help locate a missing 17-year-old girl from Goodna, Ipswich.

The girl (pictured below) was last seen on Chelmsford Avenue around 2pm yesterday (Thursday, August 19).

Police hold serious concerns for her welfare.

She is Aboriginal, approximately 165cm tall with black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a dark-hooded jumper, pink pants and had a black backpack.

She is known to frequent areas including Leichhardt and Wulkuraka.

Anyone who knows of her whereabouts, or anyone who sights the girl, is urged to contact police immediately.
