Urgent appeal to find woman missing from Fairfield

Police are renewing an urgent appeal for public assistance to find a woman – who relies on a walking frame – reported missing from her home in Sydney’s south west.

Aleksija Stojcevska, aged 76, was last seen leaving a home on Smart Street, Fairfield, just before 9.30am yesterday (Wednesday 7 October 2020).

Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified when she failed to return home and commenced an extensive search; however, she has not been located.

Police and her family have grave concerns for her well-being due to her age and existing medical conditions, and the fact that Mrs Stojcevska relies on a walking frame.

She is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance with a medium build, 155cm to 160cm tall with greying brown hair. She was last seen wearing black clothing with a navy headscarf and pink-framed glasses. Her red walking frame is also missing.

Anyone with information about Mrs Stojcevska’s whereabouts is urged to contact Fairfield City Police Area Command on 9728 8399 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
