President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. today announced the designation of a Presidential Delegation to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste to attend the Inauguration of His Excellency José Ramos-Horta on May 19, 2022 and to attend ceremonies commemorating the Twentieth Anniversary of the Restoration of Independence on May 20, 2022 in Dili.

The Honorable Alice P. Albright, Chief Executive Officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation, will lead the delegation.
