UUMV and fraud offences at Gaythorne, QLD

Police are appealing to members of the public to help identify a man who may be able to assist with their investigations into a stolen vehicle at Gaythorne which was later sold at Eight Mile Plains, Queensland Police say.

Sometime between December 5 and 6, 2016, a grey 2007 Mitsubishi sedan was stolen from an address at Prince Street, Gaythorne.

Within 24 hours, the vehicle was advertised on an online advertising site for sale.

On December 7, the allegedly stolen vehicle was sold to a member of the public at an address at Gangar Court, Eight Mile Plains.

Police have released the image of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

Investigations are continuing.
