UUMV And Property Offence Charges, Wavell Heights

Police have charged an 18-year-old Southport woman following the alleged burglary of a Wavell Heights home and theft of a vehicle yesterday.

It will be alleged that around 1:30am, a group of people attended a home on Highlands Street and gained entry before stealing the keys to a blue BMW X5 from inside the residence.

The 18-year-old Southport woman was taken into police custody at Greenbank later that day and has since been charged with one count each of enter dwelling and commit, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and fraud.

She is due to appear before Richland Magistrates Court today, 18 September.
