Van used in Felixstow break-in, South Australia

Police are investigating a break-in at Felixstow in the early hours of this morning.

Just after 4am today (Wednesday 18 May), police were called to a supermarket on Payneham Road after a staff member had disturbed three men who had broken into the store.

The men had used a long pole attached to their van to break glass in the door, by reversing the van towards the store then one of the men used a crowbar to gain entry.

The staff member shouted at the men, who then ran out of the store and got back into their van and sped off. They were last seen travelling in a westerly direction towards the city.

Nothing was stolen from the store.

One of the men was wearing a balaclava.
