Police have charged a 16-year-old girl following an investigation into a number of vehicle and property offences in the Toowoomba area over the weekend.
It will be alleged that between 30 and 31 January, the teen broke into a vehicle on Trevean Drive and two vehicles on Bennet Street in Kleinton before breaking into three vehicles at a Saint Andrews Crescent address in Highfields.
She is also alleged to have stolen a handbag from a Camborne Street property in Kleinton, before stealing fuel from a service station on Cawdor Road in Highfields.
It will be further alleged she broke into a Sportsman Drive address in Kleinton stealing a mobile phone and a blue 2025 X4 BMW.
The BMW X4 was located on 31 January near the intersection of Carey and Ruthven Streets in Kearmeys Spring.
A 16-year-old Gowrie Junction girl has been charged with 13 offences including seven counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence, two counts of enter dwelling and commit indictable offence and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, stealing, enter dwelling with intent to commit indictable offence and face masked with intent to commit indictable offence.
She is due to appear in Toowoomba Childrens Court on 5 February.
Police are appealing for anyone with relevant information or CCTV to contact police.
