Detectives from the Vehicle Crime Squad have recovered more than $160,000 worth of stolen property and charged a man after a search warrant was executed in Heathcote Junction yesterday.
After a significant investigation police uncovered the treasure trove of stolen machinery and industrial items at a Baden Drive property.
Among the loot seized was an excavator valued at $45,000 which had been stolen from Airport West in 2013.
A $55,000 caravan bearing false number plates was also found along with an LED mobile light tower valued at $35,000.
There were also several trailers, number plates, power tools and even a laundry sink, still in its box, which police have confirmed was stolen in 2018.

He has been bailed to appear at Heidelberg Magistrates Court on 14 May 2021.
