Vehicle fires in Yagoona

Police are investigating three suspicious car fires in Yagoona overnight, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to a home on Gregory Street, about 2.20am today where a Toyota Camry was found well alight in the driveway.

Shortly after, a Toyota Echo was found well alight in the driveway of a home on Bertram Street.

About 3.00am today, emergency services were called to a home on Saltash Street, where a Nissan Pulsar was found well alight in the driveway.

Fire & Rescue NSW attended and extinguished each blaze.

The Toyota Camry and Toyota Echo were completely destroyed, with the Nissan Pulsar sustaining minor damage.

Officers from Bankstown Local Area Command are investigating and will examine possible links.

These incidents don’t appear to be linked to a recent spate of car fires in Auburn.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
