Vehicle stolen during home invasion in Ashcroft

An investigation has commenced following a home invasion in Sydney’s south-west early this morning, NSW Police say.

About 2.20am (Tuesday 13 November 2018), two women were sleeping inside their home on Maxwells Avenue, Ashcroft, when they were woken by a knock at the front door.

One of the occupants got up and answered the door and was met by a man and a woman who forced their way inside.

The pair stole an amount of cash and keys to a red Honda Civic that was parked outside.

The pair fled the scene in the vehicle.

No weapons were produced during the incident and no one was injured.

Officers from Liverpool Police Area Command are now conducting a full investigation.
