Victoria Police Hunt St Albans Hit-Run Driver

Brimbank Highway Patrol are seeking public assistance after a pedestrian was injured in a hit-run in St Albans earlier this month.

It is believed the driver of a white Nissan X-Trail SUV was travelling along Main Road East when they struck a pedestrian at the intersection of McKechnie Street about 10.50am on 15 November.

The victim, a 49-year-old Hillside woman, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Nissan SUV stopped briefly to check on the pedestrian and then fled the scene.

Investigators have released CCTV images of a vehicle believed to have been involved.
