Victorian Chamber welcomes Andrews' cabinet

The Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcomes the Andrews Government's new cabinet and congratulates the Government for its decision to appoint 50 per cent women to cabinet positions.

Victorian Chamber Chief Executive Mark Stone AM said that the Victorian Chamber looks forward to working with the new cabinet to create more opportunities for local businesses and good jobs for Victorians.

"Victoria's 590,000 businesses employ 2.5 million people and are the force behind Victoria's economic success. Stronger business means prosperity and good jobs for Victorians," said Mr Stone.

The Victorian Chamber acknowledges the hard work and support for business from the Hon. Ben Carroll MP, the Hon. Philip Dalidakis MP and the Hon. John Eren MP in their previous ministerial roles.

The Victorian Chamber will work with the Government to ensure business priorities are front and centre of the political agenda.

"We look forward to working with the Andrews Government and all sides of politics to make sure Victoria remains strong," said Mr Stone.
