For the second anniversary of the fires we premiered the Black Summer & Beyond documentary at Majestic Cinemas Kempsey. Now Council is sponsoring a series of free screenings for the community.
The first of the free public screenings begins on Tuesday 23 November 8pm at Majestic Cinemas Kempsey. The Black Summer and Beyond documentary gives voice to the people of the Macleay who experienced the dreadful events of 2019 and still feel the impact.
FREE screenings of the documentary will take place on the following days:

Due to the movie industry being in its blockbuster season, timings are limited. The good news is that we will be running free screenings in the future out of blockbuster season which will offer a range of earlier screening times.
