Virtual recruiting seminar launches to answer all of your application questions

The Queensland Police Service (QPS) serves communities across the state, with our officers coming from a wide range of places and backgrounds.

We value the importance of providing a police service that reflects Queensland?s cultural diversity, with officers joining us from across Queensland and the world.

That?s why the QPS has launched a new virtual recruiting seminar to connect with aspiring police officers across Queensland in a COVID-safe way.

Throughout the seminar, Senior Constable Ben Wilson and Constable Latisha Whalan will take you through the steps of joining the QPS

The virtual seminar allows for anyone to learn about pursuing a career within the Queensland Police Service from rural and remote parts of the state and beyond.

The 20 minute video-based seminar explains exactly what it takes to be a Queensland Police officer and provides important information about the expectation of the QPS for all of its officers and employees.

You?ll also get a chance to hear from some serving Queensland Police officers who talk about their experiences joining the QPS as well as their exciting roles within the Service.

The seminar can be accessed at any time via the QPS YouTube channel, or you can click here to go straight to the video. You can also check it out below.
