A number of road closures, traffic diversions and clearways will be in place this weekend as Sydney hosts the visit of the Vice President of the United States of America, Mr Mike Pence.
There will be road closures in and around the Sydney CBD, Kirribilli and North Sydney from 10am Friday 21 April 2017 to 10am Monday 24 April 2017 during the visit of the US Vice President Pence and his delegation, NSW Police say.
Police are also advising members of the public that will be utilising public transport over the weekend, including ferries and buses, to check in advance for any disruptions that may affect their travel plans.

Operation Ambience Commander, Assistant Commissioner Mark Murdoch, Counter Terrorism & Special Tactics Command, said the NSW Police Force work closely with the Federal and State Government, as well as other key agencies and stakeholders, to manage the safety and security of the visit.
"There will be a range of traffic changes and a number of Special Event Clearways that will be put in place to facilitate the movements of the Vice President, and to ensure minimum disruption to road users," Assistant Commissioner Murdoch said.
"It is our aim to strike a balance between the security needs commensurate with visits of this kind and the needs of the community."
