National Volunteers Week will be held May 19-25 and this year's theme is Connecting Communities.
Sunshine Coast Council Strong Portfolio Councillor Taylor Bunnag is calling on our community to give volunteering a go.
"Volunteering is an important part of a strong community and we're very fortunate to have so many generous volunteers in our region who donate their time and skills to continue making the Sunshine Coast a wonderful place to live," Cr Bunnag said.
"This National Volunteers Week, I encourage you to think about donating your time to local organisations in need and working alongside other community members."
