Police have arrested a man - wanted on two outstanding warrants – in Sydney's Inner West overnight.
Officers from Inner West Police Area Command made a public appeal for assistance to locate a 27-year-old man, wanted by virtue of two outstanding warrants in relation to alleged domestic violence and break and enter offences.
As part of inquiries, officers from Leichhardt Police Area Command attended a unit complex on Darghan Street, Glebe yesterday (Saturday 5 February 2022).
Police forced entry to a unit just after 9.30pm, and a man fled onto the roof of the building and began running before attempting to lower himself to the ground, where he has fallen.
Police rendered assistance, before arresting the 27-year-old man.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where he remains under police guard, undergoing scans. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
